Unfortunately it is more of that perchlorate fuse. It is also poorly fused. If these connections were done using traditional black powder quick match , the fire would transfer in the buckets. The shells , the tails etc are build well however the fuse and fusing are terrible. The giveaway on this appears to be the use of all of that electrical tape. Since when did China start using electrical tape on fireworks? Years back seeing this type of tape would look amateurish.

Glad to see a new behind the scenes type video like this. Looks to me like a failed time delay bucket for whatever the reason. Not sure if that’s perchlorate or not but I’ve not see quality blackmatch fray like that. I’d like to know what the deal is with 5-strand blackmatch quickmatch. Once a staple in the industry it is almost non-existent these days. The perchlorate stuff is ok as shell leader but much too violent for any kind of chain fusing.

In the past I tested this gray fuse with Methylene Blue and it reacts for perchlorate. I may even have pictures of it somewhere on the forums. I will eventually post another video so people can see what traditional black match , quick match looks and performs like
