Hey Guys, I haven't been on the site much, but I have been texting with some of you guys on here. We been shooting some shows around NJ so I just wanted to add some clips. I've had 7 shoots since June 1st and an 8th one today in Upper Mount Bethel, PA. Anyway here's a few seconds of finale videos with fireballs to close. ant2004sti was also with us on the Milltown shoot.

Greenwood Lake Air Show Pyromusical in New Milford, NJ June 15th & 16th (I had the responsibility to put the charges in the 82 fireball pots.) :(

Hey, just thinking, what is the distance you have to maintain for the 30 gallon fireball?

Hey, just thinking, what is the distance you have to maintain for the 30 gallon fireball?

My lead uses 175ft to our firing location. Normally we are roughly 20 feet in front of the crowd. So I would say 200ft is a safe bet, It's hot, but you're not loosing eyebrows. You can probably be closer but since we shoot on pretty small fields unlike Bill Corbet, we feel good with that distance. Bill might have a shorter distance being he usually shoots in the middle of the country side. We are shooting on little league fields in NJ. ;)

Thanks Gene! How about the thud at that distance?

Actually fireballs are not that loud. So we always add 3 inch ground bombs and script them to fire at he same time the pots go off.

Wow man, those are spectacular! Looks like a BUNCH of work!

In the first vid those fireballs...how many gallons and how far apart? Spacing looks spot on

11 firepot positions spread about 65ft to 70ft apart. Our entire show was spread out over 800 feet. Each position had multiple pots of various sizes. Bunch of half gallons, 1 gallons, 5 gallons and a single 33 gallon pot. 82 pots total. Luckily we just added some water to each pot and the airplane fueling truck drove down the runway and filled all the pots with jet fuel for us.

Here's a bad picture of they layout. 7019
