These three guys did a hit and run. Check out the labels in the second video. That looks like some overloaded stuff. LOL Word is immediately after the display they took off.

Street gangs control the illegal fireworks trade in California, like the Mafia once did in the Northeast. I believe this may have been a show of force of some type, their "sending a message".

Interesting to me that while what was shown in spent cakes was consumer packaged product, the video footage shows what looks like a lot of color tail to thunder (snowball) type breaks. So, apparently not legit consumer 1.4, but something more akin to 1.4 AP in retail dress. Funny how that happened...

Word is as soon as this fireworks display started they took off. If they did what looked like three positions on a long fuse that is impressive. I have been trying to find pictures of the parking lot where they shot to see if there are any electric match wires or not. I can’t seem to find any post display pictures. It looked to coordinated for a long fuse.

There was some footage in the one news report that showed a few spent cakes, but nothing I could see either in terms of evidence ematch was used. I surmise this done off a hand lit fuse. Which means it would've taken a bit of time to set up. Also there was a discrepancy in the duration. One report stated 30 minutes others put at about 5 minutes based on the remarks of some of those they interviewed. I'm inclined to think it was closer to 5. A half hour of continuous fire would've required a LOT of product, and a lot of setup for that matter.
