Consumer Ghost Effect

One of my favorite effects in a burst is the Ghost effect. I started a list here of different consumer products with this (or similar) effect and will probably do the same in the 1.4 Pro/AP section for those products in the future. If anyone knows of other products with similar effects, I'd love to add to my list for possible use next year.

Glad to hear someone with firsthand experience. I thought it looked nice watching the videos. I've personally shot American Anthem (my favorite), Ghost Dragon, Ghost Shell. I can't believe I forgot the Ghostacular shells. I shot a case of those this year. Not all of them are ghost, but many are. Only 1.4 shell's I've found with any ghost.

Spooky Staircase and Donut King have Red, Blue, and Crackling ghost ring breaks.

Spooky Staircase is a DF1 item and Donut King is by Shogun.

Interesting fact is that Spooky Staircase was developed by Dave first for the DF1 line and then rewrapped by Shogun for their line and renamed Donut King.

If you use 1.4 Pro/AP, check out these cakes from RIAKEO. I shot a few this year and really enjoyed the horsetails. They were one of the crowd favorites. I really hope to find a good supplier this year as the local guy didn't have much on hand.

I was just looking at their price list, but haven't watched many effects yet. Those look great. So many options for next year, so little money! I have the option to do a 1.3 show throught the company I just started with, but all product has to come through them (they use Casabella) for insurance reasons and I'm not sure how pricing is yet, so that is the first to decide. It would be nice to shot a bunch of 3-6" shells, but.....I would really limit the 1.4 pro stuff that I was looking forward to if I go that route.
