Video capture the 2023 finale from across the highway. Mix of 1.3 and 1.4, heavy on the 1.3. Last 90 seconds averaged approximately 35 shots per second (1336 color of various size/1782 salute of various size, both 1.75 to 4 inch). Mistimed the 2.5 inch salutes yet balance of show timed pretty much spot on. For those interested the last 6 salute shells were 4 inch double magnums.

Damnnnnnnn those 4" double mags where banging. Your finale was half the length of my entire show! Awesome.
So at one point I had posted how I'm not a big fan of salutes and that maybe it's because I haven't had the opportunity to use them in large shows. Now that I been crewing on shows I get what the excitement is about. Still not my go to effect, but I understand why they are popular with pyros. For me they are similar to fireballs. Yea they are cool but I don't feel the need to have them. However the lead on the crew I work with loves them and we shoot many of them including a 30 gallon one dubbed the executioner. Watching something that you helped to setup shoot a huge fireball rolling into the sky for 400 feet is amazing. lol

3min is Too Long for a Finale I think...
I want a 20K show to be @18min and the Finale maybe,,,, 1min of that, maybe less even!

Wow. Most impressive! I love the little girl at the end. "Geez!" I think she got it just right.

Thanks. I've already got most of my finale product already purchased for 2024. Included are six (6) more of those 4" double mag canisters, they "move a lot of air".
