#silentfireworks....WEAR EARPLUGS!! With all the fireworks going off in the past, what 1,000 plus years, you'd think bees, birds and wildlife have gone extinct with that logic. True, some military vets have a severe form of PTSD, but the majority of vets I know don't mind most fireworks. My dad? A Vietnam vet, fought close to Hamburger Hill. Doesn't mind most fireworks including salutes and crackers. What bothers him are the whistling type.

Save that poster and it's logic for the G-damn dogs that bark day and night for the rest of the 364 days because their owner won't train them properly.

Reminds me of a letter I got last year threatening me with lawsuits and the cops because my "illegal show" was going to cause harm to vets who ACTUALLY FOUGHT IN WARS" and have PTSD now.

Needless to say I held my show as usual. Then I posted the letter on our HOA FaceBook page to shame the fool that sent it to me. I reminded them that I was one of those vets and I earned the right to celebrate my country's birthday.
