Does Anyone Here Make Their Own Fireworks?

Just curious to see if anyone makes homemade fireworks. If so, what kinds have you made in the past?

Years ago (when regulations were lax or non-existent) I made 2" and 3" canister color shells (with purchased stars) and aerial salutes. No more, the products on the shelves satisfy my "urges".

I made some in the past. Some were successful and some weren't. Easier and probably cheaper to buy them but I get a satisfaction when something I made from scratch woerks.

We do fireworks, all hand made, no machines used, in our work in Malta, and everything is recycled.
