It seems like at least 10 year have gone by since I have seen these Fogo’s. For a few years these Fogo’s from South America we imported by a small 1.3 dealer here in Pennsylvania. For those unfamiliar with them please check out these videos. They are three cylinders that fit into each other. You always have to remember to lite the one that is furthest from you. After the furthest one is lite it then becomes the bottom one. Problem was most people did not know how to use them. Another problem is the poor quality you can sometimes see in these. As far as I know, there is no one in United States still importing these? It always was a 1.3 item but it did quickly make its way into the secondary market. From these video we can see they are still popular in South America, and the same problems are still occurring with them. Never the less it is still a cool item.

It looks like there's more than one country south of the border with questionable product. Who would of thought it.

oh gosh do i ever remember those. GOT a call from Rex one day - hey Joyce I got the coolest items from Brazil - come on over and i will show you!
So we went over. There was 3 kinds of them - the smallest one was just 3 shot in each stackable tube, the medium size was three shot with a big bottom shot and the large one was like what 9 shots with 3 big bottom shots or something like that. And the big one literally kicked like a 12 gauge shot gun!!!
Yeah - you read that right - the recoil was unbelievable and we are holding these in our hands????? What is the world coming too? lmao!
What i really got a kick out of was Rex is holding these in his hands and shaking like a leaf showing these off. At the time I thought he was really a scarety cat of these fogos, but then realized later on he had other problems for the shaking.
Any way Dave - thanks for taking us down memory Lane - what i wouldn't give to get my hands on some of this stuff again....

Someone brought two of these [old stock] to a shoot last year. First time I saw one in person. Like Joyce said, they had a kick to them!! Reminds me of an "old time" Flashing Thunder Roman Candle on steroids.

I'm thinking you didn't miss out on anything. There are a lot of safer things on the 1.3g market to enjoy today.

Dave,

I had a 1.4g version of these 2 years ago that I had ordered from one of my suppliers. They were from Brazil, the company is now out of business there, but I had ordered 90 of them and someone accidentally sold them and these were the only ones they would ever get. The 10 samples I had were great. I wish I could find more. The same company made an item called Mamadera, which is loud and cheap but had a blow out on every third one we fired.
