The stars have aligned!!!! Amazing what a difference weather can make,, perfect day for setup,, and perfect night for fireworks!!!! Had 100% fire success,, one low flowerpot break.. but that’s it,,, highly recommended switching to quick plugs for setup,, HUGE help,,, also shout out to Dave,,, I was really impressed with willow beach,,and so was everybody watching it !!! I didn’t edit in the music back in ,, I think it’s good enough as is for the video !! Enjoy

I recognize that first cake that you shot. Was looking for a pair of them and never came up with any.

I've had the 76mm dominator RWB mines and they are a sloppy mess compared to those rwb beauties that you had there.

The big salutes in your finale, are those 3's or 4's? They went way high. Also the big color peony shells, are those 3's or 4's?

That cake at 4:32 is gorgeous, the cake right before that with the blue mines was killer too.

funny i held out too because the thought of switching everything over and cost... but then i used them when helping someone else out and realized how much time it saved... especially when having novice helpers ....for my 36m's i got 2 18s quickplug slats for each one... its probably the simplest and most cost effective way to go ... and still have onboard cues if ever needed ... bummed me out a little because i only used my regular slats once.. LOL.. but still think i made the right choice

Awesome show!! Loved the choice of effects. The lantern opening was cool. I think you actually shot the second to last one that went up too! lol...

It's nice when the sky stays full, but it's not SO full that it's sky puke. I think you pulled that off wonderfully. the viewer was definitely able to appreciate each effect and they were awesome. Bright vibrant colors. and just enough flash powder to keep people awake.

Thank you,, yeah,, our annual 4th party has now also become my nieces birthday,, born on the 6th ,, last year was “1”.. I wasn’t going to do it again,, , but I had some lance left over,, just enough to squeeze out a 2 … in the video hard to make out ,, and it got slightly cutout of the screen too

Thanks Rick,, really appreciate it,, we did those lanterns once,, and everyone loved them so much we do them most years now,,, this year I decided to make it part of the first song,, and as soon as I saw how close that one got to the first cake,, I thought ..”ohhhh” maybe that wasn’t the best idea.. LOL .. and yes is definitely a tough balance to not just full sky puke,, but in the finale all bets are off!!! And Personally I would’ve liked some more boom ,, but it was hard to come by this year

It’s always nice when you can piggyback a show with two purposes…makes for memorable birthdays for sure. A few years back, my dad’s 70th birthday landed on Labor Day….one of my first e fired shows and it turned out better than I’d hoped…and one the family will never forget.

I know the audience doesn’t have the same standards that we do…but that’s part of the reason sites like this exist…again, nice show!

BTW, we have a New Year Eve tradition with sky lanterns…love it!

Sky lanterns scare the crap out of me. I haven't had the best of luck with them. Luckily nothing serious ever happened but had them do a few unpredictable things that lead to some close calls. I'll never be comfortable sending an open flame aloft to parts unknown.

Haha,, yeah,, definitely need a good open space and clear sky for them ,, it’s the same principle as a hot air balloon,,, so as long as the flame is lit,, they’ll go up,, once the flame is out,, they come back down,,, but I do wonder when sending up a bunch ,, where they end up ,, and feel bad for whoever’s property they land on

Yes we really like to do them,, as long as the weather allows,,, and I like to start off my shows soft,, and build more and more as it gets toward the finale ,, it definitely worked pretty good for an opening effect,,, I actually didn’t get a lot of them on camera,, there was 40 of them at once .. in person looked really cool
