This is in Valencia, Spain, seen this back in 2010 ya this pretty cool to wach. in span they do get crazy.

My Boss Was in Spain for a convention. He saw 2 displays..He said the salutes on the ground were insane and the shells were very vivid in color.

I think they are going to do something like at a pyro event called M.A.F.F. in Md in April - only i think they are stepping it up to 1-10-100-1000 - YES 1000 at the end! I am hoping to be there - will be insanely awesome!!!

Yes, we are, and going to add a little twist to it. The 1000 shot volley will be spread about 500' wide across the field with racks placed every 5' so when we hit it, you're going to see a wall of tails going up :) Trying to add a little visual to the audible.

Here's a vid of a mascleta done by some friends from Texas, shot at a shoot in St. Louis last year. I've seen lots of videos and while this one doesn't reach the magnitude of the ones in Europe, it was still pretty cool to see in person, plus the guys were nice enough to let me sit out there with them while they lit it :)
