Delova Rana's!

This type of firecracker was originally made for simulating a mortar strike, which lead to a special type of Delova Rana's designed specifically for electronic ignition. Making them ideal for scenario training, and professional firework shows. These are still used greatly by people playing airsoft. But are no longer used by the military. External looks: Round thick casing, usually comes with a standard boring label. Except for Delova Rana Profi, which has a pretty interesting yellowish label. The fuse is high quality time fuse, primed with a large matchhead, making it easier for ignition. "Delova Rana" is Czech/Slovakian and means "deep wound" (also interpreted as canon shot), which is sort of macabre. But great for keeping little kids from playing with these things. Most Delova Rana's are made by the company "Privatex Pyro" in Slovakia. Except for the Profi type, which is made by the company "Profi Pyro" (also known as Pyromoravia) in Czech Republic. Now I will just go trough all the type's of Delova Rana's that I'm aware of, at present time.

This little firecracker really packs a punch, It's loaded with 30g of high quality Flash Powder. The name is somewhat misleading, as this firecracker only has a diameter of 43mm. Designed by Privatex, this is a great cracker that really is worth the effort to get your hands on.

Delova Rana "Profi" 50mm

This is the "big brother" of the 50mm Delova Rana from Privatex. This sucker packs a powerful punch, however the fuse is shorter than on the other Delova Rana's. And sometimes the walls and plugs of the firecracker isn't build well enough. This sometimes leads to a "PUFF" and a lot of smoke, but no real explosion. This cracker does usually have a little bit of titanium added to the Flash Powder composition. But often times it is to little, to even notice the titanium sparks. All in all a good product, that may need some modifications.

New we're moving on to the really good stuff, this is the largest of the Delova Rana's that you can get your hands on, without much trouble. This bad boy contains 60g of powerful Flash Powder, and is usually way out of league, for most pyro's. This is a very well build product from Privatex, and I have fired approx. 20 of them. Without ever having any trouble. Needless to say, this is not the type of firecracker that you light in the middle of a town!

Now we're talking seriously dangerous stuff! Loaded with 120 grams of Flash Powder, this firecracker is not something that many people come by! As you can see in the picture above, this cracker has got the same diameter as the normal 75mm, but is a lot taller. People have made speculations that this particular firecracker might be a "fake". Meaning that it is not made by Privatex. I honestly don't know about that, but it might be true. I'm currently working on getting a couple of these, to test them out! Since I have never tried them before..

This cracker is similar to Delova Rana Profi, the only exception being that this cracker comes without a fuse. You need some sort of firing system to fire it. The cracker has already been wired, making it easy for professionals who want's to start their show with some loud explosions. This cracker doesn't contain any titanium, like the other profi. To fire this item, you need a firing system, that puts out at least 12v.
