Has anyone else noticed the inconsistency in World Class HDPE tubes? Last year I bought a box of Excal platinum. Which had 12 1/2" tubes. Had an order delivered on friday
from AWF and the Growler tubes ranged between 11" and 10 1/2"

This has been going on for the last couple years with World Class. Original problem was that the fuses on the shells was too short, so they cut the tubed down [and did a sloppy job of it] so the fuses would reach.
DOn't worry--there is NO significant difference in a 4" can & a 5" can--only more cardboard & filler to make it look bigger...it is a "sales" thing.
Legal total [legal] amount of pyro in the shell is the same.
So, the little bit of tube length will not significantly affect the height of the shell.

Are your tubes actually cut or just molded shorter/taller?

The original problems with short fuses was 2 years ago. I was literally at the Frackville, Pa warehouse where i seen several boxes full of the "cut off" sections of hdpe. so misha would have to look at the tubes and find out. the tubes i had in that lot was CUT - not molded.
