Happy New Year everyone. Here is a video I'm sharing on my social media. I did a small short backyard display in my backyard. I live in residential area, I can't not use some of my larger 500 Gram cakes like Willow Beach , Storm Surge etc. I thought the Displayfireworks1 Assortment would be a good choice. For the finale I used a mix of Shogun Fireworks ball artillery shells fast fused. Of course there was rain throughout the day and night. Did anyone else have a chance to shoot something for new years?

Dave, Very Nice Backyard Display...I also shot some pyro at midnight. The weather was mid-40's, no snow, no rain, no wind, Perfect night for Fireworks. Now looking forward to Memorial Day weekend...

Dave,
Happy New year to you and your family!!!
Always look foward seeing your shows posted.
Your shows are always timed perfectly and layout is always neatly organized. Your products always top notch!!!
This year my setup was only a small ground show of fountains, wheels and firecrackers. I had no ariels this year on account of nearby construction taking place. Happy 2022

Happy New Year to you and everyone on the forums. Fountains , wheels and firecrackers are also fun to light on New Years Eve. Make the best of what your time , budget and situation allows. As I was cleaning up my backyard display , I could see some of my neighbors in the distance must have found some of their leftover July 4th fireworks and I could see and hear them shooting artillery shells and firecrackers one at a time until about 12:45 AM. I must have stimulated them to get out and shoot something. It's all great to shoot whatever you can.

Dave,
Love the whistle cake at around 2:53. Do you mind telling us what that was?
Thank you!

Dave,
Love the whistle cake at around 2:53. Do you mind telling us what that was?
Thank you!
The cake at 2:53 is one of my cakes called "Wolf Moon".
.
The first three cakes are all Displayfireworks1 products. Six Shooter, Big Airtime and Wolf Moon. If someone buys a case , you get one of each. An assortment case. Each one of these cakes have the hidden E-Fire port for those with a fireworks firing system. Or, you can just light the fuse and never know the port is there. On this display I used a Cobra, I used the ports. Easy fast setup. I used Wolf Moon to slow things down a bit just before the sudden start of the finale. The plan was to shoot the entire display in two minutes. The Displayfireworks1 Assortment case of 3 different cakes gives the user a mix of three different 500 Gram effects, for the tent or retail location, they open one case and can put three different products on the shelf, and for the advanced user there are E-Fire ports. Here are some pictures.

Thanks for posting your NYE display. I see you used a Cobra to shoot this. What more can you tell us about the setup? How many modules , etc.

Hey Dave, I used 6x 18m models 1x 72m from Cobra and 10x 12 cue sequencer for extra firing channels. The show had 225 events and was the first show I have really used AP, as well as consumer products, thanks to your AP certification. For this show I also upgraded my modules to quickplugs and used multiple rj45 breakout boards for quicker setup.

Glad you are putting the AP Education Certificate to use. Friendly piece of advice. On this display video you posted. Next time start the opener with something fast and in the air in addition to the strobes for the opener.
