The next product ( Displayfireworks1 Assortment) should also drop this week in Ohio. Here is look at the artwork. I will be getting videos of these soon on my social media.

There are not E-Match ports on these shells. Pricing as with all Consumer Fireworks varies with the season , supply, location etc. Hard to believe from just looking at it, this one is one of my more expensive artworks for my artist to create.

More dropping today in Ohio this AM. This case is an assortment of three. I adding some humor to the artwork. For those following my videos from the start will remember the Kawasaki motorcycle I featured in one of the artworks.

Man I want my "local" shop to sell these.
The cake art looks awesome Dave. Maybe the artwork for the cans cost more because he had to license the buzz lightyear space suit. :D
I'd be interested to know the process you have to go through to get one of these products from idea to availability.

That's what I would like to know too. How much say does one have in designing a firework?
It looks like those might be 5" shells. Wondering why 5" shells if that's the case?
I'm not surprised by the artwork costing more for the shells. It's actually several pieces of artwork, the box the tube and the shell labels.
E-ports in the cakes?
Looking forward to the demo vids!

lol. my first thought was marvin martian from loony toons
Dave, out of curiosity do you actually spec the amount of composition to be put in the shells, or is that something that they do for you?
Just wondering how the industry works in that regard.

Ya know I thought about that too. Those shells looking like 5in. Nowhere on the packaging does it say "5 INCH CAN". It just says Dave's Rockets. When I saw the can I said humm looks cool. I didn't fuss over the size because I wasn't presented with the size of the can all over the artwork. When I got 5" growlers last year (label stating 5 INCH) I popped the top and there was over an inch of empty space in it. Seeing 5 INCH on the side made me want to know why it's better cause it's 5 inch.
Dave's Rockets give you no reason to care what size they are.
Shoot those things Dave! We need a demo. :D

Does it matter what size consumer shells come in? 3 inch to what do I see now 7 inch cans? all the same amount of material inside, whether a 4 or 7 inch. If it were to reduce on cost I wish they would sell the smallest size, less material less packaging and less shipping.
On a 4 inch can, yes. Because there are the two clay plugs inside, most of the legit 4” cans that I have taken apart only have about 45-48 total grams of composition in them. Smoke and mirrors, and 4” excals (circa 2018ish) are a couple of examples that I have measured.
5” cans typically have more room between the clay plugs, and the (compliant) 5” cans that I have taken apart usually have 54-59 grams in them. Excal platinum and Nishiki blast (raccoon) are a couple of examples.
Due to plug location and size of stars, it’s always gonna be really tough to squeeze more in a 4” can.

Here is a picture of one of the shells and all three of the cakes have the E-Fire port for those with a firing system. Easy setup. For now I'm doing a slow intro on these new DF1 products because of limited supply. Literally near all of the DF1 product is gone. Everything is on reorder and in the pipeline. All prior DF1 products will continue.
