~Kelli, I see that you're from Wisconsin. I understand that Wisconsin requires a special permit to light Consumer grade pyro. Is a permit easy to obtain. Just read online that they rarely grant a permit for 'Backyard Fireworks'. Must be a Tough State to live in...

yes especially the county I am in. but the night before and 4th they are pretty relaxed and open to shooting. some counties like mine you can have safe and sane all year so thats better than nothing and I always keep my safe and sane bin near by if need be or if I need to get rid of the pyro itch. im sure with my experience they may grant me a shooters permit but ill go my buddy's land where I dont need a permit cuz im not gonna pay $350 for a damn permit for backyard stuff un less if someone buys it themselves and I volunteer to do the show cuz of commerce.
