So, I see Winda is coming out with some new stuff for 2022. I'm not sure how this will play out. I imagine it will be like Black Cat's Thunder Cat cake from a few years ago. Either way, we'll have to see.

I can see a lot of pyros getting cases of that Pulse Pounder and fast fusing them together. I'm assuming thats a 500gm right?

This is the first time I've ever seen a big brand name product contain "you know". Usually from what I've heard most of the time, it will be a product that is unmarked or unlabeled or some weird brand no one's ever heard of before. Although perhaps I suppose manufacturers could get away with it if it's just BP burst with titanium added to mimic the real deal.

We can only hope that once they hit the shelves, there will be a lot more of the good powder than what is typically found in a saturn missile.

An image of Winda's comment from their girandola video was posted elsewhere, but I'm curious what has changed. Look at the last comment.

https://youtu.be/G9a_QFSDFMIYou know, I heard people talking about that cake, but didn't pay it much mind. Now, after watching a hand full of videos, I think the same thing will happen. Then again, it's kinda how it always does with consumer stuff. The first run comes in and it's really nice. The next batch comes in and it's watered down.
Here's a video of the good one.

Anyone else notice that the videos from Winda for Pulse Pounder are now listed as Private?

IMO - just keep in mind as you watch any video - the sound factor is going to be different. Are you on a flat in the middle of a huge empty field? Are you in a valley with hills around you? Are in the middle of a street in a town with houses/building all around you? etc.

Agree....Having watched lots of videos and then watching and videoing the actual firework I can confirm that not only can they sound very different but look very different. Besides location you also have to factor in the quality of the equipment used to record the video, distances the video is being filmed from etc. In the two AoB videos you can clearly see the locations are very different. The first is shot in an alley with pavement and buildings for the sound to bounce around in. It's much more enclosed. The second video is shot in an open space. I live in a fairly densely populated area and I can tell you fireworks sound much louder there then they do where there is much more open space. Yet on the lake where I shoot my 4th show there is lots of wide open space but sound travels well so they also tend to sound louder there. It also helps that the lake largely sits down in a shallow valley that was carved out by glaciers during the ice age.

When an item comes out, it's really good. A year or two later, that same item has been watered down when it's compared to the original.

^This
40F146/066/21 is the lot number on the case of pulse pounder that I got. They were kinda ok...but nowhere near what I was looking for.
Another thing I noticed is that there is a shorter duration version of this that seems to be the hitter...lasting around 25 seconds
Mine last around 45 seconds and its even marked on the cake that the duration is "42 seconds"
As jamisonlm3 eluded to, it seems to be the ol bait and switch.
I will admit that these are no where near as bad as the thunder kat from a few years back. The non demo version of thunder kat was pure ass.
