I recently added this YouTube trailer for our new 18R2 coming in May. We have 25 companies / individuals beta testing the system ranging from backyard enthusiasts to large display companies. Everything is going really well and we are excited for the May release. In May 2012, COBRA is releasing the brand new 18R2 transmitter. This is an advanced version of the current 18R that includes a USB port for uploading up to 100 automatic scripts. You can define scripts using a simple file format in Microsoft Excel or using Finale Fireworks Pro visual simulation and scripting software. Additional features include manual cue firing while scripts are running, firing memory where you can know what cues have fired and what remain, firing multiple cues and up to 2 channels at the same time, and much more...
The 18R2 design is the same size and ergonomics as the 18R with only an added USB port. Signup for email updates at www.cobrafiringsystems.com (http://www.cobrafiringsystems.com) for more information including a pre-order opportunity in late March / early April.
Thanks to Mark Gusek for putting together and video taping this NYE 2011 display using 1 x 18R2 scripted remote and 4 x 18M firing modules. The show was designed using Finale Fireworks Pro.
