The fastest easiest way to match a consumer shell is to brass poke the bottom paper disc (NOT the thick cardboard wall of the lift cup) and put a match in there. Secure with tape. It works on ball or can shells. This video shows it for can shells.

Now in this video I showed how to use the blast from the first ematched shell in a rack to light the chain fuse, but you can actually put two igniters on the cue and instant fire shell one and light the chain fuse with the other igniter, if you don?t trust the blast to light the chain fuse.
