i have used that method many times and its great,but its too much fidling around when your trying to make lots of quickmatch. my method is the same as 1.3 professional quickmatch ; 3-5 strands of home made black match concealed in two strips or one folded strip of craft tape. i find that this is easy to mass produce ,and its really fast and reliable.

looks good, I tried using the fast grey fuse wrapped in paper piping works great too.

fast grey fuse is two strands of bm wrapped in paper. cut it open!

i take 3-4 strands of homemade black match and insert it into paper bag handles and connect all the handles works great

is anyone interested in learning how to make continuous long paper tubes for quick match (Ive rolled them over 20m long in the past but its easier just to stop at 2m) I can make a video

wooden rod but yeah once you get the technique right you can churn out kilometres of the tubing with ease

you can do it with any if your desperate even strips of paper and making tape can work

The video shown would probably be most appropriately be called sticky match. It probably works just fine for most purposes, but masking tape tends to leave flaming debris around that may not be desirable.
