Backyard Fireworks 50 % Firing System and 50 % Long Fuse

This is a backyard fireworks display I showed up at 6 PM to help out and do part of the display. Plus it gave me a chance to live fire the Firelinx Firing System.

Thanks Dave, I watched this. I've assumed I'd buy a cobra in the next couple of years, but after seeing this, I'm just as likely to buy a Firelinx, and I'm glad to see I'll have a choice.

Those are probably guineas. I know they aren't turkeys. Those are so common here, you can see they beside major highways.

I looked up Guineas and I think you are correct. Of course I'm no expert on this but it sure looks like some sort of turkey. In the future if I get to know the property owner I will have to ask him what the plan is with that chicken coop. I know in the video you see them all hiding out in the coop as night fell. Before that the chickens were running around close to us as we set up. It was fun to see them running around.
One a side note . Speaking of the word Guineas, my wife and I always say, once you hear a new word or descriptive term, you suddenly start to see or hear it in multiple places. Just a week ago I heard the word Guinea used as a pejorative Italian term from a YouTube video clip from the Godfather movie from 1972. The clip is Moe Greene meet Michael. I'll see if I can cue up the part. Its at 4:06 in this clip. Only I think the word Guinea means something other than those birds. LOL

As someone that's been married to an Italian gal for the past 37 years, I can guarantee you that the term guinea does NOT mean turkey when directed at a person of Italian ancestry. I'm fairly certain it's Italian for "it's time to fight!"
