"my wife woke me up and said " c'mon I'm off today lets go get more fireworks "
If my wife ever said that to me, I'd have the girl drug tested! That's just not something I'm every going to have to worry about happening at my house.
Having said that... I hope neither one of you smokes!

.
Don't be embarrassed, you actually have enough to do multiple displays. The trick is to get a fireworks firing system and fire double of everything. In addition , if you have limited product make the display shorter with a more intense finale. Do you have a fireworks firing system? Are you familiar with E-Match and/or the MJG Firewire Initiators?

Great, you are all set. With that ATF license, add a few Thunder Kings to your finale and everyone will love it.

Loves me some Dominator effects!! I've got (I think) 90 slices in the show this year because I couldn't find the Dominator cakes I wanted. Their slices are very nice and the crowd loves them so, no biggie. That's the beautiful thing about shortages. It forces you to try new things and do some old things in new ways.

I'm always looking for brick labels from the new brands of firecrackers for my collection, so if your stand dealers have any loose ones bound for the trash please pick them up for me. Just the new brands for the 2021 season. I can pay a bit for them or trade for old packs. Mail or better yet bring to PGI in Fargo this August. halka@daktel.com

I bought my fireworks in early March I paid a few bucks more for the cakes but it wasn’t that bad, the Excaliburs price were the same but next year will be a lot worse my firework guy doesn’t know if he can get the big 500 grams cakes next year, lots of BS coming soon

I've got a stash now, and 2 orders on the way! I'm saving for some for NYE and next year's 4th. I'm hoping there's not a shortage, but just in case...
At least it's not Toilet Paper or Gas (east coast 2 weeks ago) - but I'd rather have fireworks!

Shells are missing from the picture but I'll be throwing up about 20 or so with this stuff. All in 4 1/2 mins. I have about 3 dozen rockets also but going to save those for another night. There's a woman with a dog in the neighborhood and she hates us. I was going to put a gift basket with a thunder vest for the dog and dog toys and treats but she might take it the wrong way. I love dogs though so I understand.

We just got finished poking the main cakes and fusing up the opening. The opener this year will be the last of the 200g cakes we've had in stash. The 500g and Ap cakes were mostly bought case lot, but we decided to just fire 1 or 2 of each instead of the case. That way we have a built in stash for next year. We also have about 400 shells going up.

My tiny stash for this year, $300 worth vs $1K last year, however as previous people have mentioned "it's not the quantity, but the quality of your show". Unfortunately, it won't really be a show in the traditional sense this year as I don't really have enough cakes to hit one after another, however, my finale is what I'm most excited about and will consist of the two sunshine state fan cakes going off at the same time, space apart about 100ft from each other to create a giant wall of crackling at the finish! Then I will fire simultaneously 8-12 death shells/king dragon shells once the built-in finale of the sunshine states go.

http://www.pyrotalk.com/bulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=5784&stc=1 This is my first attempt at a backyard show and a post. Hopefully the image loads. Started planning back in January and ordered the typical 1.4 stuff plus a ton of fuse all different burn speeds. I have never got to sit and watch the fireworks like everyone else. I am always the one running up and lighting something then running back none stop. This year my plan is to setup / fuse everything on pallets in the shop in advance and then just haul the pallets out back and do a few quick connections and enjoy.

Nice stash for your first backyard show. You should think about investing in a remote firing system. I purchased a cheap 60 cue last year off ebay and sit back with the crowd and watched the show with them. I'm going to invest in a better system this year probably aroung black friday during sales but the cheap system really did a good job. Did you build your own Mortar racks?
Yes i built my own mortar racks. I picked up 450 tubes from Chris at great lake mortars up in Michigan. I also have 2 Ignite 18 modules. Ill play around with them and hope for the best.
