PGI DOC course

Searched the forum and could not find any info on the PGI DOC course. What to expect, what is the class like? What is the written test consist of?

First let me say take the course, even if your new or old to fireworks. So, usually it's a 2 day course, bulk of the stuff on the first day, review and test on 2nd day. I would say that if you are of average intelligence, you should have no problem passing the course. I don't know if you have the NFPA 1123 code for fireworks display, if you do it is based on that except for maybe 2 points that may differ. Some topics of interest include, distances, Operation of a Display, who you need to listen who you need to meet and talk to, security stuff watching for duds and misfires - what you do after a display. Good general and some specific stuff.
