Job box question

Hey all,

I'm getting closer and closer. Here is my Job box magazine in my detached garage. 6 pin locks. I lined it with wood today. My question is: If you look at the pics, I had to leave an inch or 2 gap to allow the hinges to close. That's not going to be a problem is it? I can't see why it would be. If you have any exposed screws or nails, hit them with a little wood putty to be safe.

What's behind the wood? How did you fasten it to the magazine? I am working on one myself, job box.

it is 11/32 plywood. I used liquid nails to attach to the box.

Look at the section in the orange book under job boxes (it is an amendment in the back) Inspector I had questioned mine on the lid not being covered, but I showed him that section and it states, Only part that needs a nonsparking covering is the part that touches the product in the magazine. very top of the sides (that are not useable with the lid closed, ie where your hinges are) As long as the hinges "tuck behind your board as not to touch the product, your fine (like you have it)if you put the hinges inside the box your building, that may cause a question, but looks right to me.....

You could save the space and money and just spray the box inside with rubberized under coating.
