Here is my DIY attempt at a Command Center for my personal shows. I wanted an option to be able to use the R2 out in the field, a command center-like look and feel (without the excessive cost) as well as a storage space for the tablet when traveling or not in use. The tablet stand can pull away from the case extending out approximately 4 inches, can be adjusted up and down and tilts forward and back. On the right side of the case I have cut out a section that pulls out and reveals a storage spot below for the tablet and any other accessories. Obviously this does not have the huge battery, SMPTE (I have audiobox), nor deadman ports but I don't use those anyway so it works for me.
I picked up the case at Harbor Freight for $26.99 and the tablet stand at Amazon for $21.66. Tablet is a Fire HD 10.1" from Amazon that I got during black Friday sale for $74.99. 4 bolts, washers, nuts, and some neoprene washers were another $5 at Ace. I already had the OTG cable from purchasing the control panel.
I thought about getting the external antenna kit to mount on the side of the case but not sure if I will do that or not being I will be using the R2 outside of this contraption at times.
I also added 2 small 1 lb. weights in the very bottom of the case as it is top heavy and likes to tip otherwise. I simply cutout a quarter inch or so of the bottom foam piece and placed them in and secured. Prevents case from tipping back now.
Total cost was approximately $125 including the tablet.

Fourth picture is what the top of the case looks like. I added neoprene washers on both sides between the case and regular washer. Not the most aesthetically pleasing but it does the job.
