if shooting in sub zero temps effect mortars? can it make them brittle? just wondering if anyone knows or if the cold doesn't effect it at all.

I shot NYE at midnight with some 3". Sitting out in 30 degrees for six hrs.

You can shoot well below 0 without any problems with HDPE mortars. The only problem would be that your not getting me out of the house if it's that cold. Nights like the are meant for bourbon not pyro.

I don't know - I am a fair weather shooter - LMAO!
Seriously - never been in subzero - but we had a Christmas show - 10 above zero - It took me 2 days to thaw out!
Oh - the hdpe mortars were fine - stood the cold better than me anyway...
