Finally got a video of this event all be it a cell phone, of this annual event, 5 years now. I know most of you will say it's too long but I like to shoot a lot of product and attendees seem to love it. Some of the "dead air" pauses my fault, those in between hand firing bigger shells, some caused by wrong vendor times listed for product and some just to clear the 1.3 cake smoke. I have a setlist somewhere so if you want to know about a specific cake just give me the timestamp of video and I'll try to get back with you. I also intended to take pictures of the setup but then totally spaced it.....sorry.
Part 1 is the "big boy" shells and cakes of the shoot. For those of you that need to cheat, the faux finale begins at 17:50. The only 1.4 portion of this part is 150 - 1.75" color canister shells. The faux finale ends with a case of 4" willow chains (30) and 6 - 4" whistle salute shells. Finale consisted of Yung Feng Nishiki Kamuro Niagara Falls shells, 2 - 8 inch followed 2 seconds later with a case (9) 6 inch shells. It was a very thick drip.
Part 2 is the close proximity portion of show the crowd loves. They talk more about this than the bigger shells. Mostly smaller 1.3 items except a nice thumping 8 inch canister salute at the beginning which the cell phone speaker hardly picked up. The only 1.4 product in part 2 of show were a 1.4 pro fan slice, 3 cases (12) of Dominators RWB Peony cakes and 200 - 1.75 Golden One canister shells in finale. They have a very nice mine effect that is somewhat lost with all the ThunderKings and Battle Of Color during finale. Gonna shoot more of them next year without any other product to fully enjoy. For those that want to cheat, the close proximity finale begins at 23:12. Close proximity finale consists of a case of 36 shot Cataclysm (4) at the beginning transitioning to 3 cases of Dominators RWB Peony cakes (12) then 200 Golden One color canister shells with 4 cases (12) 100 shot thunderkings and 15 seconds later 2 cases of 36 shot Battle Of Color (24) cakes. Once the dust settles topped of with 2 - 2.5" 36 shot Brocade Crown Ti-Salutes (72) and 108 2.5" chained salutes.
Grab a cold one and enjoy.....you got time
