What cake/effect/mortar were you pleasantly surprised with?

For us, it was the Dominator "pro level" Saturn Rings. They hit hard. I saw Philly Pyro Kev's video and I was worried, but they were excellent. Also, the Pro Ox Finale Rack was awesome. I was really impressed with a lot of the product I used this year. I have to say I got full use of my 200g cake board. For mortars, I specifically was very impressed with the wildcat 5" cans by Realtree. You can see them in action during my finale here! I mostly used the cans with the red and gold brocade tails and ti willow breaks. For new-to-me effects from this year's show, I really liked the triple effect of Cutting Edge's Royal Flush cake. The wintersweet effect of World Class' Shipwrecked was awesome too when shot up as a whole case.

I will as surprised at how vivid the colors are with the Dominator 1.4 pro line product.

I had a couple, but there is 1 cake that stood out the most. Wolf Warrior by Bright Star. In the video below, the tales that go up have a break at the end that has incredible height. Plus a nice howling sound effect. Would be very good for layering. I plan on getting a case next year if possible.

I used a couple cases of RealTree wildcats a couple years ago (standard length) and I was please with them as well, especially since the effects matched what the labels said they were.

for color, Dominator mine cake PFX5248MN is the best 1.4 cake I have ever seen. It is brilliant. It is really hard to find a 1.4 item cake with great blue color and this has it. 5:30 in my 2020 video. For ear busting visual overload.... humming snakes by 76. 21:35 in my video

Cakes: Hit The Road Jack by Brothers, Rockets Red Glare by Big Fireworks.
Canister Shells: Pack 'N Heat by Brothers - This shell has a double break. I bought some Growlers, thinking a single break would be bigger, but it wasn't.
Fountains: Neon Jelly Beans by Winda Fireworks - Has a long transition time, but I really like the effect.

I Am The Storm by T-Sky fireworks. It was a last minute pickup when a friend that came over wanted to add to the show. Also Bring On The Noise by Hot Fireworks Complex. Looked exactly like the demo video on YT, which I found out doesn't always happen.

I was really impressed with the tannerite m25 100shot airburst i heard plenty of mixed reviews on them as far as how loud they are i shot 2 of them at once and they rocked really sounded good loved the pace
