NYC Fireworks complaints

Calls to 911 this year are up to 13,315, nearly 13 times the figure last year.

But the NYPD won't attempt to stop anyone setting off illegal fireworks. "They have many other things, particularly, the NYPD, dealing right now with other profound challenges." Mayor Bill de Blasio said.

A lot of the people complaining to no resolve .. banded together last week and formed a line of cars outside the mayors house and honked their horns all night long ...saying” if we can’t sleep neither can you” personally I love it and don’t care one bit.. I would make it my alarm clock if I could .. ... but they are literally going off till 3am every night ... so I completely understand the complaints

I've heard some going off at times here in the good old upstate and I understand the complaints myself. I'm a lover of all things fireworks but every night at 2 am and on is really starting to piss a lot of people off. My cameras picked up the sound at 4am this morning. Now they are pushing to make it all illegal again.
