ny own and possess

Stupid question, but have to ask: Has anyone ever applied for a NY Own and Possess license? If yes, what hoops did it entail?

I’ve thought about it myself a few times..but for us in Long Island..(where I live anyway). there’s nothing we can legally do with it beside store it..if you can even get a magazine approved.. unless you also plan to become a licensed business who will do shows.. and on the application it says not valid for NYC.. and the only way for us to get it here is to drive within the city limits with it.. there’s a few guys on here from upstate who have done it.. maybe they will chime in

Thanks for the reply. I know 1.3 G is out of question in nassau county. However, I have a type 20 license. So if i wanted to make my own fountains and the like or shoot 1.4G, I would like to have just in case nassau county's finest or Garden city's finest want to say anything
