I received my renewal ATF license in the mail today. It is will ahead of expiration date. I thought I would add a few pictures to serve as visual to those that are newly license.
.
First off Do Not sign the original. I never really fully understood the ATF rationale for this, last I heard this is what the ATF wants. I make multiple hard copies of the license and place it in all of the vehicles in my family. If you experience an issues chances are it will be on the road. You can at least prove you are properly license to possess whatever is in the vehicle. If you read the fine print on the wallet card, its not valid for sale or disposition of explosives. Carry the full license. Find the fax number of 1.3 distributors you are considering this season , fax a hard copy to them if you can. This way they can get you into the system ready for you to order. Scan a copy to you computer, this way you can also email it to distributors. Put the original license in your file cabinet for safe keeping.
If anyone else has recommendations for newly licensed ATF holders please comment.
