Hi,
I've searched all the sponsors but could not find any sponsor selling metal racks.
While trying gain my PGI cert, I worked with a company that has metal racks that you can take apart and really save on storage space. They have not bought any for a long time and I think the company they purchased from went out of business.
I did come across one company, but out of USA and shipping is a bit pricey.
Any one know of any companies selling metal racks? Preferably made in the USA but at this point any leads would be helpful. The racks are made to use HDPE tubes.
Thanks for any info.

These are the racks you are asking about. Light weight aluminum. They are no longer made. The company went out of business several years ago. You can find them floating around for sale occasionally. The company I shoot for sold all theirs a couple years ago--we went with a more efficient setup/tear down method. There were pros and cons to using them. The company was named ATF--No connection to THAT ATF we all know about!!!

If I remember correctly the ATF was "Anchor the Fuse". They made those mortars with the cut near the top of the mortar to hold the fuse leader. Everyone thinks these various racks and mortar innovations are a good idea until it come time to purchase them. I'm trying to remember if those side pins could be removed or are they part of the unit and spring loaded? I believe Eddie at Night Lites has bunch of these also.

Dave--the racks use an "L" shaped pin to align the rack of guns to the "H" frame and there is a cotter pin that goes thru the L pin. Ammo can full of each required for assembly & disassembly

If you enlarge the first picture you can see how the two part pin assembly connects. The holes in the "H" frame allow for precise adjustment of angles or "straight up" alignment of the tubes.

Now I see why it did not succeed. If I am looking at it correctly , it looks like an adjunct to existing racks . If a display crew left the plant with 100 L shape pins and 100 Cotter pins. How many pins do you suspect would be on the truck after the crew finished the display and returned to the plant? This setup may be good for angle firing.

Right on the money with those racks PYROJOENEPA.
Dave, thanks for the info I will be checking them out - and yes they were easy to set up for angle shooting, and yes they had big bags of cotter pins stored on the truck.
Hey back toPYROJOENEPA, (I'm also from NEPA) I don't really want to have a conversation here about the PGI here (I see you are no longer a member), but if you could send me a private message of Why not a member I would appreciate it. I did not see any topic to post about the PGI, but here is what I'm running into: I took the PGI course this past year at Cobracon - volunteered my FREE servicesand time, to get experience and work towards the certification, one company responded and scheduled a show for me. I thought that was great emailed back asked for any more time anywhere, but they were already filled up. So at this rate I can't forsee any certification in the near future, I would have to go through the course 2 more times before I got enough time in for certification consideration. The course is great but in my case is leading nowhere - and I'm free and free is ceratinly better than cheap, lol.

At PyroJoe , Wasn't the same company that made these racks also the ones that made that yellow rain gutter looking firing system back in the day?

Pyromaster racks suck, I found this out quickly working with J&M, 90% of thier racks are pyromaster racks.
ATF racks still are being made by this guy...
