Looks like shells not in tubes got lit, uncontained. Lucky no one got hurt looks like.

Looks like they were prob reloading during show and weren't using some kind of reloading box to hold the fresh shells when a spark landed in just the right spot thats my guess

Close call, almost looks like it could have been one of the big cakes. Hopefully nobody was injured.

I hate seeing stuff like that. It's so dangerous. So preventable. It also makes life difficult for the rest of us who love this hobby.
That said... I hope everyone was okay.

That to me looks like an entire rack of ball or can 1.4 shells loaded upside down, 15-16 shells. Watch it again........aparently a member of SFA: 'Stupidation Fireworks Association'.

Looks like they had a rack of fused canister shells loaded upside down.. You can see the lift charges poof before the shells blow up. Always check where the fuses go in to the lift charge.. Never trust the labels that say TOP on them.. I have actually had canister shells that were mislabeled upside down in the past but were smart enough to load them properly oriented.
