Fake Finale Suggestions

I?ve really struggled with this part of my show. I have a hard hitting start, followed by the body and ending in a 2:30-3:00 minute finale. I shoot with 2 18 cobra modules.
What have you found as a good fake finale technique?

I like fusing a case or 2 of good 200gs together i generally look for a case of good performing 200gs that come 24 to the case. Not the most creative but def provides that finale look

I like that concept, that’s a pretty hard hitting 30 sec fake finale. 24 is a lot! Boom!
I’ve done a case of the 2inch shells and they are nice but I don’t think it’s ‘fake enough’ compared to rest of my show.

I like how the backyards can have a little down time from the fake finale to the finale {10-15 sec}, my fake isn’t fake enough...lol

I really don't do a fake finale. In the last 3 minutes of my show I try to build on what's going on by adding more to it. So in the last say 30 seconds of the song I have probably 6-8 cases of 500G cakes going off, then in the last 5-10 seconds I let go with the 300 mortars. Seemed to work really well this year especially.

I love fake Finales and even troll finales (as i like to call them). I built suspense with a countdown and started with just 1 basic mid sized bottle rocket and paused. Crowd starts to boo... and then i hit the Finale...Big applause after that. It was my tribute to the coneheads movie scene. Big hit.

Before that, 1 case of 200g cakes for a fake seems to do the trick if you have something harding hitting for the real finale. Or if you are lower budget, 4 200g cake fake finale > 1 case finale. Something like that.

A few 100 shot cakes then as soon as they have finished a 2 second pause, then let rip 5 3" shells, 5 4" inch shells then 10 5 inch shells, 3 of them triple ring to salutes. Effect grows from the bottom up then finish off with 3 10 shot single row titanium salute mines as the ring shells report.
Regularly gets the 'holy sh**' reaction.
