Several pics from the next morning before cleanup. Didn't video this year as I was rushing to get everything ready plus I was focused on my 1st time using a Cobra 18R & 1 18m. Plan on upgrading to 18R2 & get a 2nd 18m for next year. Had 106 tubes with 4 not firing. Lost count of number of cakes, all but 2 fired. One was my fusing, it was the end of 4 fused together and the other was on it's own MJG Initiator. So I was more than happy! As you can see in one of the pics most everything on 1 of my boards burned but it was a blessing in disguise! The last row of 5 76Proline 20s Crossette assortment did not light. As the board slowly burned during the rest of the show the fast fuse for those 5 lit and they all shot off right as my finale finished. No one but me knows that was pure luck! 424242434244

Yep made a nice mess but I don't mind cleaning it up after my 1st show with a 18R & 18m.

That is a nice kind of mess. I took off all the paper off the tops of cakes, paper off all of the shells, and tried to do everything I could to minimize the mess. I even put down 20' x 25' of plastic before putting the boards down. I shoot off of tennis courts and all 4 courts were just covered in random mess. Balled up the lower plastic into a nice 5' diameter ball from the mess near the cakes. A couple of blowers made quick work of clearing off the courts. Nature will take care of the rest.

What mess? All I see are the remains of something really good.
