I got a bunch of rockets this year. What?s a decent and easy way to launch them in a field other than using mortar tubes?

Lol nice set up! I don't think I'll have that much time to build something so intricate as that! Pretty awesome though.

that is definitely a serious launcher!!! hahaha.... some on here once was talking about using chicken wire or similar with the square holes.. can make a little table for it... other than that you can get a bunch of 1/2" or 3/4" pipe ... drive them all into the ground side by side... theres also racks very similar to mortar racks.. but only wide enough for rocket sticks

Gallon milk jug filled with play sand.

That's a great way to use up all those empty gallon milk jugs that people have lying around!

I use maybe a 3/4 inch piece of aluminum conduit pipe. It's about 4-5 foot long. Pound it into the ground and leave about 4 feet out the ground. Then you don't have to bend over to light your rockets.

That is very pretty. How many can you launch at time?

Looks like 156 tubes (12x13)

Yep 156, normally I set the 2 outboard racks at a slight angle for a fan effect-takes a while to load and secs to shoot-still worth it :) PBP

1/4" hardware cloth over a wood frame ... Search rocket barrage on YouTube. How many European guys do it. Even with the huge rockets they have over there.

I made this rack out of 1/4 wire screen, very simple to make.

Made these from 2x4s and used electrical wire staples to hold the rockets. Easy to build and chain fuse together.
