Ignition prefire settings

Hey all...So I am working on scripting my first pyromusical using the Cobra Show Creator.

I am having trouble finding information on what the "recommended" prefire setting is for using firewire initiators on various effects. Im talking strobes, flames, mines, comets, slices, sweeps, etc.

The default seems to be .5 seconds.

Any help is much appreciated.

I use .1 on mine for mjg’s or ematch. I know some like to run .2 but for me that’s just a tad too early.

I’d just make a super short script and shoot a few comets to see what you prefer.

I use prefire times of:

.20 on comets/mines & slices
All cakes .05
62mm 2.4 to hit beat on break
