Here is a pack I was told was made for Chinese domestic market and not intended for export. I paid $13.00 for it so not expensive. It is double layer. I guess our 1 to 7 classification would not apply if it is China domestic.
Any one know anything about this? Black powder or flash? Amount of powder?
I wish I had two packs so I could shoot one.http://www.pyrotalk.com/bulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=3813&stc=1

I seem to recall these were made for the southwest Asian market (Malaysia?). I never lit any either, but they were large, red-wrapped crackers which seemed to contain a healthy dose of flashpowder.

These were brought in after the year 2000 by a company in KY. They call them old man with peach crackers. They are well loaded for standard firecrackers.
That is Chou himself, with Hu and Lu one of the Three Immortals. With no logo like Red Lantern, etc. and no English or other foreign language I would classify as China Domestic. But with those features I would call them China General Export. Yes not that old and common to collections.
