I need your help: Fireworks in Illinois!!!

Please file a witness slip for the Illinois general assembly to help advance the 2 bills that will allow full 1.4 fireworks to be legalized. There are two bills. One in the house and one in the senate. Please take the two minutes to file in support. The antis have already started to mobilize and these bills are being brought forward this week. No requirement to be a resident to file a witness slip as a proponent of the bills. Only takes a couple minutes to possibly help Illinois legalize consumer fireworks.

Any updates on bill sb1556? I see it went to bill purgatory (assignments) on 3-28. Also thought I read somewhere that the bill isnt looking for a July 4th season but maybe 1-1-20 if passed.

Unfortunately it is looking like it will be a while before anything happens. New gov and staff have other ticket items they would like to pass before fireworks, such as legal weed and more taxes.
