Just going to throw this out as a discussion. Has anyone ever attempted anything like a world record 1.4 display for length and amount of product used. If so what is it? I have this crazy idea, but what’s new about that. LOL

Yeah I'd say a sky puke would probably be the first thing attempted. A really lengthy display would bore most people, but a giant mass firing would be awesome.

lol Hey I'd be up for it. I've always thought a giant mass firing of just swimming fish cakes would be cool.

All we need is some one with a big farm and Pyro friendly comunity it would be like a woodstock of fireworks. We could work the candle record into the big show. What is the candle record?

lol i did huge 1.4 show once... it was cool but kinda long and people became bored till the end... my finale was 44 500g cakes 88 200g and and some mid sized cakes i think 320g, 2 750's saturn missle and 6 300's, a dozen dynamic trio mines, 150 shot rocket rack, 168 excalibers and rambo kid shells, and two huge fireball cannons.... it was set up too when shots were fired it filled the sky with the same effect from the 500g and 200g and the rest were just to fill in around it persay...
hmmmm wonder what the candle record is??? that would be fun!!!

At one point the National Boy Scout Jamboree was breaking the world record every 4 years. I don't know if that was for time or product and I don't know if they are keeping that up. GLASS wanted to do this 2 years ago. If I remember the world record for shells was somewhere around 42,000. Most they could get up was 9500. Still pretty impressive.
