This is an unlisted video of two fireworks shells. I had an opportunity to video this fireworks maker shells and convinced him to join pyrotalk. Like some of us, he may not always make that perfect shell but has fun just the same. If someone has questions about the shells please feel free to ask and perhaps he will answer.

Not too shabby...still liked the first one, including the delayed bottom shot

Loved the second one would love to see a video of how those shells are made so the salutes go off in a circle.

I always love to see experimental shells and really liked these. The person who made these seems to understand the art well. Good job on the experimental shells. With some minor adjustments, these will look great.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your comments. I’m still tweaking my building process, but seem to be getting things dialed in - or at least I think so. :) These were definitely 4” shells although they did barely fit in the morter.

What size inserts did you use for the rondelle? They looked pretty big when they broke & had a solid thump to them! Nice!

The rondelle inserts were made using 1lb rocket tubes with a 1"OD.
