Here's a small fireworksshow for a chinese wedding that i shot on 17-09-2011.
It's only bang because the bride was chinese and the groom was dutch.
In china it's a tradition when the weddingcake is cut by the bridal couple,
that there is a lot of bang.This drives the bad spirits away.

Very interesting video. Thank you for posting it. What were the single firecrackers with the whistle you were lighting individually and throwing in the beginning of the show? Could you post a picture of what they look like? And the large firecrackers that ran overhead across the street--are they sold in strings like that or did you have to fuse them yourself? do you have a picture of them also? Are these typical firecrackers you can buy in Belgium? Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Sorry but i have no pictures of these products.
I do not know if these products are for sale under the same name in the USA.
This are the names in Belgium : The single firecracker is called ; Ugly Joe
The firecrackers that ran overhead is called ; Valencia 150.
In the show there are 2 shot at the same time.
They are on a string so once lit.

Those strings are what we refer to as Traca's. Used all throughout Spain in their Mascleta's, their daytime firecracker/salute displays. Which are simply amazing, video's can in no way do them justice, but they can give you a general idea of what a Mascleta is like.
The traca's in Belgium are sold as a string and in a few different shapes and sizes.

The 3 image limit really is a pain. And why does that rule also include video's and emoticons? I know you have to prevent things like spam, but this rule might be doing more bad than good.

I never knew the firecrackers for these celebrations were sold as premade chains. This is something you may never see for sale in United States. The premade strings of firecrackers would make the setup easier.
I am really loving this daytime fireworks. Even though most of the fireworks here are salutes, there is a rhythm. That ground salute effect starting around 2:40 is cool. It would be interesting to see the computer script on this one.
Great video and pictures on this. When I find the time I will go into the administrative section of the forums and allow more than three videos in one post. Perhaps 5 may be a more appropriate amount of videos and pictures in one posting.


Ik wist niet dat het vuurwerk voor deze vieringen werden verkocht als premade ketens. Dit is iets wat je misschien nooit te koop in de Verenigde Staten. De premade snaren van vuurwerk zou de installatie te vergemakkelijken.
Ik ben echt lief dit overdag vuurwerk. Hoewel het grootste deel van het vuurwerk zijn hier groet, is er een ritme. Dat de grond groet effect vanaf ongeveer 02:40 is cool. Het zou interessant zijn om de computer script te zien op dit ene.
