Lift time Dominator 62mm

Hi folks,

I have searched around a bit and I cant find a published number for the lift time on the Dominator 62mm shells. Using the stopwatch on my phone and watching videos, I got an average time of around 2.15 seconds.

Does anyone know where I can find a lift time value for the dominator shells at, or can you tell me if 2.15 seconds is ballpark? Does it vary from shell to shell?

62mm is 2 1/2"...a typical 2 1/2" shell has a lift time of 2.25 - 2.3 seconds so you are in the ball park with your 2.15 second timing.

One thing to note on the 62 mm shells is that older versions have an external ematch port with a long piece of quickmatch attached, while newer versions you put your ematch directly into the lift through a hole in the base

I havent tried it for this purpose yet but i have a shot timer app on my phone called splits designed for calculated cyclic rates on firearms (works great for that) but after playing w settings in app and sum testing id guess u could come up with extremely accurate averages of this as essentially its the exact same thing time inbetween burst
