Retired so I’ve gotten involved in pyro the last few years. We (myself and a few helpers) put on a 4th of July show for our Land/Home Owners Association. This will be our fourth annual show, I call it “Rumble on the Ridge” since we are on a ridge above the Mississippi River. Last year I fired electronically for the first time using an inexpensive 10 receiver wireless system, chaining off of the initial elec firing to produce a show that lasted 18 minutes. This year I will expand to 17 or 18 wireless receivers and my show is scripted out to just under 23 minutes. We will fire to music for the first time this year as well. Fellow association members provide some of the funds, I bankroll the rest.
I guess my next step is to get into a Cobra type fireing system but they look a bit complicated to me at this stage. So, I’ll sit with the crowd this year and push the button 17 or 18 times but would love to someday get to push one button and sit back and enjoy. So far it looks like we will shoot about 380 reloadables, 78-500g cakes, 148-200g cakes, about 50 mines and comets, some Roman candle barrages and probably a dozen or so strobes and flames to get things going. Spacing and timing is my main concern to avoid sky puke. Anyhow, that’s me. Looking forward to all the helpful information and tips you can send my way.

Welcome to PyroTalk Deanbc. Sounds like you already have gotten your "pyro feet wet". The Cobra is very intuitive. Once you make the change over your most common line will be "I wish I did that ages ago".
Lots of people on here to share show/setup tips, etc. Settle in & make yourself at home.
