Supero Vlinder & Colour Salute

Hey Guys,
This is a review of my 2 favorite firecrackers, the Supero "Vlinder", and the Colour Salute.

Colour Salute:

Type of firework: Colored fountain, with LOUD report.

Produced by: Alpeco Fireworks.

Bundle of crackers or single: Single

Pieces in a box: Usually 20 pieces.

Type of pyrotechnic powder: Flare composition and Commercial Flash Powder.

Quantity of Powder: 0,5 gram Colored flare, 2 grams of commercial flash powder.

Danger Level: Should be handled with care, but it wont take a finger or hand of.

Availability: Legal in many european countries. But not in countries that doesn't allow flash powder firecrackers.

Personal Opinion: These are absolutely GREAT, loud report and a nice beginning with the little fountain. Highly recommended.

Price: Large difference between the shops, Alpeco's own website says 15€ for a pack of 20.

Quantity of powder: 2 Grams.

Danger Level: Should be handled with care, but it wont take a hand of

Availabillity: Legal in many european countries. But not in countries that doesn't allow flash powder firecrackers.

Personal opinion: This is a great legal cracker, packs a loud report and it has a piece of paper attached to it, so you can toss it in a fairly safe way. (Still not recommended though)

Price: Great difference between dealers.

[Snakebite]

The Supero is from Pyrostar and not from Original Fireworks and isn't sold in any of the Zena shops.

The Colour Salute isn't sold by Alpeco anymore. It used to be a fake version of the Colour Salutes manufactured by Panta/Brothers. In Poland if I'm not mistaken. The quality of the version sold by Alpeco was nowhere near as good as the original.

Also, I think you should make a seperate thread for those 2, because the crackers aren't related in any way and discussing them together in 1 topic would just cause a lot of confusion. Also, 'vlinder' is a typically Dutch/Flemmish name for such crackers, in English they're usually referred to as spanish crackers.

Those where very nice giggleguyz, but I wouldn't want to hold in hand might not take a hand off, but you might lose a finger or two.

The pictures are the same and what Snikebites says is right!

The importer of this Colour Salute is "Alpeco Fireworks" and not produced by Alpeco. It's a immitation of the real Colour Salute ( Brother/Panta ) the producer of this one is not known.
