76 Pro-Line Fireworks Strobe Fuse By-Pass

This strobe is supplied with a slow burning green Visco fuse. If you want to speed up the ignition on your firing system, place the electric match directly on top and tape it down. now as soon as you press the button, they will light. Does anyone recommend another method on these?

Is it the "gray glue" that is igniting or is it igniting the fuse right at the base?

As I'm new to a lot of this, would this work with similar items like smoke devices that have the similar "gray glue" around the fuse? I guess I could pull some out and try.

We use the Dominator Pro Line Strobes--same thing. Works very well.
