Local regulations

Hello,
I'm starting to look into the laws and regulations where I live here in parking. I emailed the Township asking about regs and ordinances. The lady at the township replayed with the following.

XXXXXXXXX Township has no regulations on fireworks; also no zoning. You may check with the Fire Marshall XXXXX XXXXXX.

What does that mean for me? The fire Marshall is my Grandad's friend so I'm going to get him to go with me when I talk to him.

What should I ask him when I stop?

Regardless of whether or not your local municipality has any rules, regulations or permits, possession of 1.4 and 1.3 is banned by the State unless you are properly permitted/licensed.

Sounds like your area is very rural which most likely means that there is no town police force and your local law enforcement is the Pa State Police. At least in the Eastern part of the State, State Police are very strict anti pyro, but they do seem to be not so aggressive around the 4th.
