Hi,
I am a young mechanical engineer that has had a long interest in pyro stuff. Having grown up in Oregon, my exposure to the more interesting side of pyrotechnics has been limited. Over the last few years I have had the privilege of celebrating the 4th of July either laying on our front lawn watching the city show that launches 3/4 of a mile away, or with friends in a fireworks friendly county in Washington State. Currently I am considering an R&D effort relating to fireworks stuff. Hopefully some of you guys can help me with developing safety mechanisms and knowledge of relevant regulations.
