hi all! I am a new type 54 license holder thanks to Dave's great resource on the ins and outs. I am lucky to be close to Lynch imports and will be picking my show up tomorrow. I have mostly 1.3 cakes but I did buy a case of 3 inch and a case of 6 inch mortars. I made my own racks and bought my tubes from Lynch also. I will be using a cobra systems with talon clips for my first show. I have watched as many safety videos and how to videos as I could find, however being a firefighter/paramedic I have safety concerns. Any advice on how ensure the safest possible outcomes?

Grab a box of ematch and shelf those talons... Just be respectful of what you're working with, don't hurry when checking for any misfires.. Brace your racks really good

I agree, ditch the talons and get some e-match. And as always, be careful.
