Yes, price of paper related products rise a lot since new year. There are few reasons talked in China.
First, government closed down many paper factories in Northern china due to environmental issues.
Second, most of Cardboard made by recycled paper from collecting oversea, and those recycled paper has Quote to go inside china.
and the quota has been deducted.
But at the end, the fact is paper price raised up , and there is nothing can do from fireworks factories. As they can't produce paper themself.

I discussed that with an importer the other day, the factory he buys from is already starting to change their packaging to use less cardboard... Interested to see where this goes
