Hello,

I'm curious if anyone has recommendations for incandescent bulbs that can be used on the rails of firing systems for testing. I had purchased a box of cheap LEDs, but the the continuity monitoring current on some of the firing systems will illuminate the LED - not what I was after.

I"ve seen a number of videos where bulbs are used (e.g., https://youtu.be/p82FCIH2b2U), but I haven't found anything available that has two wire contacts that will fit in my rails.

The closes I've found is some automotive lights (http://www.autozone.com/electrical-and-lighting/side-marker-light-mini-bulb/sylvania-side-marker-light-mini-bulb/493800_18183_18269_1356) that I can snip one end of each contact that is molded int he glass and then bend it out wide enough to fit on the rails. It works, but I'm looking for something cheaper.

I hope to do some scripting for the first time this year, possibly to music. I'd like to do some test runs with light bulbs.

I've seen some suggestions on Christmas light bulbs, but figure there is another option out here.

Thanks in advance.

https://www.amazon.com/10-PACK-Eiko-Miniature-Light/dp/B00455GH0S/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1498267776&sr=8-4&keywords=912+bulb+10+pack here is what i use and like you said just snip the end of the wire tucked into the glass. much cheaper to buy in 10 packs than at an autoparts store

Thanks. The bulbs arrived yesterday. I found a fee places in the script where the firing time was too close between cue such that the second cue wasn't firing. A small adjustment in the timing took care of it.
